This was the question on people's lips since they have been informed of the "BEST OF EKITI" Event. They keep asking what it is about Ekiti, what do they have to showcase and Who really are the Ekiti persons other than the numerous Professors that they have???
Well may we inform you that Ekiti is a blessed State with a lot of potential for growth and development. It has well over 15 Tourist sites out of which is the popular Ikogosi Warm Spring- a natural Spring with therapeutic nature, the only one in Nigeria (or even the whole of West Africa) and the newly renovated Fajuyi Park- an ultra modern fun spot for relaxation, a Pride of place in the South Western part of Nigeria.

Talking about people, Ekiti isn't just about Professors alone and if you think I am kidding, look at this: Mr. Gbenga Oyebode, Chairman of Access Bank Plc.; Sir Remi Omotosho, Director General- Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Dare Babarinsa, Editor-in-Chief- Westerner Magazine; Mr. Femi Ojudu, Editor The News Magazine, Chief Dele Alake, MD/ CEO- TV & Radio Continental; Chief Wole Olanipekun (SAN), reputable Legal Luminary; Mr. Bisi Omoyeni, Former MD Wema Bank, Mr. Tomide Olukuade, Chief Information Officer, OkayHouse Limited, Chief Julius Adelusi-Adeluyi, Chairman Juli Pharmacy, Mrs. Funmi Ajila- Ladipo reputable Fashion Designer and MD Regalia, Mrs. Tokunbo Jakande, Mrs. Yemisi Dooshima Suswam, First Lady of Benue State, Princess Oladunni, TV Personalities Jumoke Odugbesan of AIT and Deji Falope, Host Malta Guiness Street Dance Competition.

Are you still there? We also have Music Stars notably, Yetunde 'Sasha' Alabi, Jazzman Olofin, Goldie, Yinka Aiyefele and Jide Thomas a member of the famous INFINITY Music Group.

The list is actually inexhaustible and we believe that with these few points of ours, you can see the need for Ekiti persons to gather in Lagos to promote their growth potentials and forge a way forward for the State.
